Kings Gate is the main entrance to the city of Valletta. Siege Bell Monument
The 10 ton bronze Great Siege Bell and surrounding monument was inaugurated in 1992 by Queen Elizabeth as a memorial to the over 7,000 people who lost their lives in the Great Siege of Malta during WWII while defending the allied cause.
