I just took the tour over the 4th of July Weekend. It worked great! Do you have more tours of Boston?

Long Wharf, Boston, MA
It was here on Long Wharf where the story of American freedom began. Long Wharf was built in 1710 and was the longest wharf in the world at that time stretching 2,000 feet into Boston Harbor. Bostonians were wealthy traders involved in the Triangle Trade that exchanged raw materials, consumer goods and slaves across the Atlantic. John Hancock, the richest man in Boston, had his counting house here on Long Wharf. Today Long Wharf is the home of a Marriott hotel in the shape of a large brick cruise ship. You can see the shape better by taking one of the Boston Harbor cruises that depart from Long Wharf throughout the day. (less) It was here on Long Wharf where the story of American freedom began. Old State House
The Old State House was built in 1713 and remains the oldest public building still standing in the United States. This was the colonial capitol where the freely elected government, the Massachusetts Assembly, met along with the British Royal authorities. Many heated debates occurred in and around the Old State House including the historic Boston Massacre that took place just outside, represented by the stone circle in the center of the street. British troops had been brought in to manage recent riots and on March 5, 1770, a few soldiers got caught up in a verbal exchange which became a spectacle for a mob. It ended with the soldiers firing into the crowd killing 5 Americans and wounding several. The event became propaganda for revolt and is considered to be the first bloodshed of the revolution.
